group so please ensure your group members are all present on both
monday and tuesday, especially when yall are moving around
Do take note of your groupings so that you wont be so lost on monday!
Also, please memorise and revise all the scores by monday. Practice time in the PAC is very precious and we wont know when is the next time we can practice there so please make full use of our rehearsal there. So don't waste the time there to practice and also if we take our own sweet time and saunter up and down the stage, it will not only affect us but other CCAs too should we exceed our timing. It may be a little dry on monday cos the whole day is filled with rehearsals but i promise that the second day will be better!! (-:
Lastly, please bring the money for the tix that you have ordered on Monday. Each ticket is $10.
Jiayous choir! We're down to a few more practices before concert so lets give it our all and put up an awesome performance

Welcome back!
First things first... there are choir practices both tomorrow (23/10) and monday (26/10) so prep mentally and physically, hope not all is lost after all this while.
To clarify, tomorrow's (23/10) practice will be from 3.00-6.00. Please bring a spare shirt for PT tmr! Also, Monday's (26/10) practice will be from 2.30-5.30. If there are any questions, instructions have been given to SLs and ASLs so please ask if you are unsure.
Secondly... concert date is roughly 1 and a quarter month away so work away and enjoy the fruits of labour deservedly. Practices will be tougher and more strenuous as time goes but let's just all work diligently and present a worthy performance. Just hang in there and grind through; we are all going make it!! Please revise your scores so you won't be blur when you come tomorrow! Really hope all of us will put in our efforts for the practices to come (:
Last thing, do fill up the chalet dates available form if you haven't already.
Hope to see you all ready for tomorrow (:

Teachers' Day Messages
Hi Choir! :)
I hope that you guys have had a wonderful weekend so far! But also remember that while we can have rest at home, many of our teachers are working really hard to ensure that each and every one of our practices run smoothly, plus, they have to be responsible for each and everyone of us!
“They inspire you, they entertain you, and you end up learning a ton even when you don't know it” ― Nicholas Sparks, Dear John
For this teacher's day, everyone has to write a letter to each of the following teachers:
1. Ms Tham
2. Mr Tay
3. Mr Ong
4. Ms Lee
5. Ms Vaz
6. Ms Low
The messages should not be bigger than half an A5 sized piece of paper.
While writing these messages, do take time to reflect on how much the teachers have done for all of us; how much time they have given up to help us, worry about us, care for us, inspire us, teach us...
A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. ~Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, translated from Turkish
Pass me the messages by Monday, failure to do so will result in a penalty that may empty your wallet, make your muscles ache or...

YFC Concert Costume
Hey choir!
Here are some guidelines for the not so new newcomers regarding our YFC concert costume (-:
We'll be wearing a plain coloured t-shirt with black pants (black jeans are allowed, but jeggings are
not allowed). Refer to this if you are unsure what t-shirt cutting you should get:
As to what shade/darkness of colour you should get, just get something that isn't too faded or dark. The brighter, the better. Please DO NOT get polo or cuffed sleevs. Buttons or any form of designs are also not allowed. The most we can allow is a
small small logo at the side. Below is the list of colours which indicated the colour you should be getting.
Sops:
Orange/
Yellow
Altos:
Pink/
Purple
Tenors:
Red/
Brick Red/
Reddish Brown
Bass:
Blue/
Dark Blue/
Teal
*Jeans should be plain black too. It should not be ripped/faded/have any designs
There will be costume check on
20 July, Monday so that we are able to inform you early if you need to change anything. You can find these kind of shirts from Giodarno, H&M, UniQlo, Hang Ten, etc.
Also, here is the photo for the publication for the concert. Do send it to your friends and families. Ask em if they wanna get tix and text your SLs the number of tix you want (preferably 2 each) by Week 4.

Choir Practice on 24 June (-:
Hey choir!!
Hope your homework is almost done ha ha. So here are some details for practice tmr! (ps so sorry for this late update)
There will be PT in the morning so meet at the
BBALL COURT @ 830 AM sharp (do bring a change of shirt, we dont want the choir room to smell). Practice will be SC led and will end at
1230.
Do prepare yourselves because we will be learning a new song tmr! We know it has been long since we had sung together as a choir (and now the seniors are gone *cries*) so I really hope everyone will strive together tmr as everyone would be so nua after the holidays. Really really important to have discipline because our YFC concert is in 25 July which is really really soon.
That's all for now. Have a good rest and hopefully you'll be charged up for tmr's practice! Drink more water too (-:
